The Winning Edge Defence Academy
Prepare your child for the National Defence Academy (NDA) entrance exam and SSB with a structured and comprehensive two-year offline foundation course in Dehradun. The new batch commences on 01 April 2025.
Under this program, students complete their Class 11 and 12 curriculum at George Public School, Dehradun, while simultaneously undergoing NDA written exam and SSB preparation at George Educational Institute. The Defence entrance training modules are meticulously designed and conducted by a team of highly experienced retired Armed Forces officers and expert faculty members.
The foundation course encompasses academic excellence, NDA exam preparation, SSB orientation, physical fitness training, and personality development programs, ensuring a well-rounded and disciplined learning experience. Hostel facilities are available for boys only.

Through this partnership, the academy ensures that students not only receive elementary and secondary education but also benefit from the school’s structured learning environment, modern infrastructure, and experienced faculty. George Public School, affiliated with CBSE, offers Science and Commerce streams for Classes 11 and 12, aligning seamlessly with the academic requirements for National Defence Academy (NDA) preparation.
As part of the tie-up, students enrolled with the Winning Edge Defence Academy are provided with lodging and boarding facilities within the school premises, ensuring a disciplined and focused lifestyle essential for future officers.
In addition to academics, the school — known for its specialized coaching in NDA entrance exams and SSB interviews — works closely with the academy to enhance students’ personality development, communication skills, and physical fitness. Know Your Eligibility
Age Limit:
For Class 6: The candidate must be between 10 and 12 years old as of 31st March of the year of admission.
For Class 9: The candidate must be between 13 and 15 years old as of 31st March of the year of admission.
Educational Qualification:
For Class 6: The candidate should be studying in Class 5 or have passed Class 5 at the time of admission.
For Class 9: The candidate should be studying in Class 8 or have passed Class 8 at the time of admission.
Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
Medical Fitness: The candidate must meet the medical standards set by the Sainik School authorities. A medical examination will be conducted as part of the admission process.
Gender: Sainik Schools generally admit boys, but some schools may offer limited admissions to girls, especially in higher classes. It varies from school to school.
These criteria may vary slightly depending on the specific Sainik School, so it is advisable to check the guidelines of the respective school for any updates or additional requirements.
